Dr. Darren M. Surma

Dr. Darren Surma is a licensed Chiropractor serving the community of Holly Springs, Canton & Woodstock, GA.

Dr. Darren Surma has been freeing people from pain in the clinic of Northside Spinal Center in Holly Springs/ Canton, GA. As a Chiropractor with experience, Dr. Surma is committed to promoting optimal health and well being of  patients.

Dr. Surma uses a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Surma is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.

Dr. Surma earned his doctorate in chiropractic as a Magna Cum Laude honors graduate at Life University in Marietta, GA and holds licenses to practice in Georgia and Canada. Dr. Surma also acquired his National Board Certification in P.T. (Physiological Therapeutics) from Life University's Department of Sport Health Sciences. Undergraduate studies were performed at the University of Winnipeg in Manitoba, Canada.

Dr. Surma is currently certified by the ICPA in prenatal care and the Webster Technique.  Certification is granted through the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice and the Counsel of Chiropractic Pediatrics.  Dr. Surma's intimate knowledge of newborns and the growing child allows him to properly address and treat the specific needs of this unique patient.  For more information on the ICPA, please visit their website at www.icpa4kids.org.  

During Dr. Surma's time at Life University he was on the Dean's List for academic achievement and served as Assistant Captain of Life University's Ice-Hockey Team. While serving as Assistant Captain, Dr. Surma won three ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association) National Ice-Hockey Championships. He continues to play competitive hockey at a high level.

This year will mark Dr. Surma's fifth season with the Kennesaw State Universtiy Ice Hockey Team.  Dr. Surma serves as the Assistant Coach and Team Chiropractor for the KSU Owls.  Visit us at www.ksuicehockey.com
